Rescue Vessels

In support of the various rescue organisations in Australia, Britton Maritime provide a range of aluminium boats ranging from 3 to 5 metres in length, especially for emergency response, flood and rescue use. We also offer an inflatable collar and foam collar range of boats for rescue use from the small 4 metre to the larger 7.5 metre rhib. These vessels are purposely built to withstand the environment in which they operate in. Flooded waters can often pose unforeseeable risks, which may cause damaged to vessels hull and collars. Our range of vessels incorporate heavy duty hull construction including foam collar with protection rubber to mitigate any possible damage caused by floating debris.

We also have a range of fast response vessels for harbour and coastal rescue including the Gemini 850 Cabin rhib and the Ellis 9 metre jet powered rhib which are currently in use with NSW Marine Rescue. BMS have recently became the NSW agent for the Shoreline boats which are also currently in use with WA rescue and law enforcement organisations.

Our specliasised 599 bow loader design incorporates the ability for loading via the bow using a retractable winch operated door. The 6 metre vessel can hold 12 personnel, plus equipment, and the special hull design allows for easy glide operation through the water. The vessel's width allows for loading of livestock and mobile quad bikes, which is an exceptional feature for rescue operations.

The boats are designed to accommodate use in shallow and high flowing waters, have side rails for easy entering and exiting of boat and also a V shape hull which allows for easy glide through any water. All boats come with optional extras to be tailored to their specific use including canopy, lights, seating, communications and safety equipment. Britton Maritime provide sign writing for boat identification and give our clients the option of which motor and brand they would prefer.

With our partners Telwater, Seatamer, Gemini Marine, Mark Ellis Marine and Shoreline Fabrication, we have the resources available to modify our range to suit the specific requirements of our customers. For further details on our rescue vessel range please download the brochures below.
