Remote Control Weapon System - Dual
The lethality provided by the RCWS Dual firepower is boosted by its high- precision fire capabilities. The RWS is gyro-stabilized on two axis (elevation and traverse). This feature, supported by sophisticated algorithms, a 3rd Generation Fire Control System (FCS) and automatic target tracker, enables accurate shooting-on-the- move.
Survivability is underscored in the RCWS Dual design. Ammunition reloading, which is traditionally executed from outside the vehicle, is enabled under-armor due to the RCWS Dual dedicated in-hull reloading system. This enables the crew to maintain combat continuity without exposure to risk. In terms of RWS survivability, the Samson/Morion Dual RWS low-silhouette design and RWS "shell- shaped" armor protection can easily accommodate protective armor reducing in overall platform vulnerability on the battlefield.
The RCWS Dual incorporates proven technologies and tested serially- produced elements which provide for a technically mature system. This translates to high system reliability and availability.
