Dominator UAV Features
The Dominator UAV is a MALE (Medium Altitude Long Endurance) UAV system based on the DA42 platform. The system combines the remarkable performance of the DA42, a fully certified aircraft, with over 640 units produced since 2005 and over 360,000 hours of accumulated operating experience, and the proven unmanned technology by Aeronautics, which has logged over 120,000 operational flight hours onboard UAVs worldwide.
The Dominator is equipped with Aeronautics proven UMAS Flight Management System,
with the remarkable MTBF of 30,000 flihjt hour. in addition, Aeronautics' advanced navigation system
providemthe Dominator unprecedented fliht an sensor accuracy
The Dominator interfaces with a vast range of payload, including EO/IR payload with laser pointer of designator,
maritime or Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) radars, cominication relay,SIGINT (COMMINT and ELINT) and aditional sensors payload .
The Ground Control Station (GCS)feature real-time control
hardware and software that enable fail safe flight operation
and user -friendly interface for route planing, choice of operational modes,
payload control and target localization.for independent reception in the battlefield
the optional remote Video Terminals (RVT Level 2 or 3) display video, data, and allow direct control over the payload (level3)
The Aerostar UAV uses an advanced, multi-chanel line of sight(LOS) data link system (C/L/S & UHF bands)
which enables real time command and control to ranges of up to 300km, in addition ,
the dominator UAV carries a SATCOM terminal for operations beyond line of sight, via geo-stationary satellites
